Amateur Radio Emergency Service – Ottawa County, Ohio (NWS Zone OHZ007)
Ottawa County ARES is a volunteer organization of FCC-licensed amateur radio operators who provide backup and emergency communications when normal systems fail or become overloaded.
We support local public safety, emergency management, hospitals, shelters, and community events. We train regularly and coordinate with served agencies to ensure reliable communications when needed.
